I have used the Wovel, loved it so much, that I got involved as a rep and am looking forward to selling them on the Rochester NY area. Maybe getting into Buffalo and Syracuse next year, they get even more snow. It even works on the heavy stuff, you can just plow it, stop quickly and snow keeps going...I put my snow blower on craigslist, too much maintenance and still unreliable. They go for 120 bucks and only sell the new and improved folding version.

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
1-14-08 All these nay sayers should try it before saying it's no good.I bought one today and live in CT with a long driveway 650 feet. It works as advertised and the wheel is plastic. It's lightweight and easy to use. When finished I felt like I worked my arms at a gym but no back ache at all. This is a great invention.

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
Visit Wovels newest competitor - SnoLift!I have owned a Wovel and a SnoLift and feel that the SnoLift is far more efficient then the wovel. It has a foldable design as well as reasonable price tag! It is DEFINITELY worth the investment.Visit www.snolift.com!

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
This is the stupidest scam I've seen in a long time; not only are you lugging around the huge ass steel wheel, you are using an inferior design. Be a man and shovel your driveway already... geez !!

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
It is a good machine. It doesn't replace a shovel, but is useful in combination with a shovel. It isn't good for light powder in small spaces. I use it for moving snow around. There's about a 2:1 mechanical advantage with the big wheel for a fulcrum. The wheel gives some control over the height of the leading edge of the shovel. (Of course, I realize you can achieve the same effect using a scoop or pusher shovel.) As far as I am concerned, the "snow throwing" is a bit of a gimmick; at least, when I use it I don't toss snow around much. But, I can see that snow throwing would work when clearing a large area. There is much less strain on the back. It uses different muscles than a shovel, and I find it is a welcome change after, for example, clearing snow off a roof. I like it even though I am shorter than ideal for this device. If you are under 5'4", you might not get the full advantage of this machine because the handle is almost at shoulder height.Anyway, use the right tool for the right job. In some situations, this is the right tool.

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
sweet. it'd be useful, but i'll stick w/ a normal shovel. i dont see how a wheel makes it easier. ;)

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
Interesting. I have my own invention called the man plow. It's basically a 5 ft wide plywood plow with a replaceable plastic blade that I run behind to clear my driveway when there is only and inch or two. Anything more I'd use the snow blower. I have a long 300 ft hilly driveway so it is important I get any snow off it so it does not turn to ice. I wish I could find a solid 5-6ft push plow to buy, any ideas? I guess the market wouldn't be to big for this as it is an incredible workout.

Wovel - The Ultimate Snow Shovel!
Click Here to Read Full Post and Comments
How well does this push shovel react over un-even surfaces. Something I like to refer to as nitches and gitches. I Believe that I have a push shovel thats better. like to see it? Contact me at beauman@prodigy.net or call my cell. (216) 334-6688.

they reinvented the wheel and it has a shovel and handle!Actually this seems like something that might work well when you have to clear really deep snow. Interesting design.
