Hello - would I be able to please have permission to use one of your images (the main Topsy Turvy photo in the upper left of this page) for an article about urban gardening for the newsletter of a non-profit charity, Earthsave Canada? It's such a great photo and illustrates its use well to readers that would like to see a pictorial description. Thanks in advance for your response. i received a topsy turvy w/stand as a gift. it has the 3 holes with foam inserts but also has 3 holes covered with a green material and there is nothing in the instructions that refers to those. can i put plants in those also? is this a newer version for 6 plants

I bought two of these from QVC and followed the instructions which were simple... I watered it as needed and even used tomato food and only got about 5 small tomatoes off of both combined...it put out a lot of small ones but they never turned red. I babyed these things for months and was very disappointed. My father in law saw the commercial and ordered some...I told him to return them, he could have mine.. I hope he is not disappointed as I was in them.

Okay I bought one and the directions were blank on pages 2 and 3. Can anyoone scan the them and e mail them to me? I called the company and they said they wouldn't help me bc I bought it from Plow and Hearth. P and W said they'd get back to me and haven't. Help. It's only half built.

haha, no. it does not come with the tomatos. You have to buy those separately, and you are supposed to put starts in it, like you would buy from the store. The link to purchase above links to the gardeners.com website, but they state they are no longer selling it. Anyone know where to pick one of these things up at?

I bought 2 topsy turvy planters and I need the tomatoe plants. Can you buy a beef steak tomotoe plant and plant in these planters? Or another variety?Only need 2 tomatoe plants and I am not sure if they will come at a later date.Any information on this would be appreciated. A Idaho gardener

I had an upside-down tomato planter last summer and it surprisingly produced many tomatoes, it didn't grow as tall as regular "ground" tomatoes can, but my neighbors always kept asking me where I got it made up for that. :)
