I agree with the coolness. I would punch some1 in the throat for those goggles/hat. I be the sickest guy on the mountain. Lots of people dis them but for snowboarding, they are wicked

I agree that these are the baddest most incredible work of art that Oakley has made yet. I am no fan of the rest of their product line, but this one actually made me look twice. Granted, and as much as it pains me to agree with the closeminded great unwashed masses, it would probably be too much to see outside of a snowslope or a movie set. BUT, had they made a separate strap that could hold JUST the goggles? You'd have have had people breaking down doors to get just the goggles. I know I would have!

They stopped making these years ago, there was a story at the time about some bikies that knocked over the Oakley factory and were caught because so few pairs of these were sold that 3 blokes in one gang couldn't have them.

I have one and wear it snowboarding all the time. The glasses are useless coz they instantly fog up, I use my snowboard goggles instead. I get nothing but cool compliments and comments on the slopes...I can\'t see myself wearing it anywhere else tho, unless myself and everyone I was with was out partying drunk.

They stopped making them due to poor sales versus expense - they were low profit since they could not mark them up as high from a cost to make to sales price. If they marked them up like they do most of their products, the material cost would make this thing about $1,800 USD. Then factor in that there are a lot of people like Suzy The Ugly One, and you have a kind of societal peer pressure thing that, while there are a fair number who do not care, there are enough that would cringe back from exercising enough personal freedom and style to face society's delicate sensibilities - something Oakley would see too and add to the heap of cons against it.Personally, I would not wear it myself - at least outside a costume for a dystopic future movie - as it is simply not my style (I am more steampunk than cyberpunk), but I would also not object to seeing people wearing them on the street.

This is by far the coolest item on this whole website. If it didn't cost $750 I would buy one right now. This is the illest thing I've seen in a while. I'm dying of desire right now. Forget snowboarding, I'd wear this thing driving around town, grocery shopping, walking around the streets, partying, playing basketball, etc. I'd wear it all the time.
