Nice! I must admit, however that I'm more inpressed with Erik Varszegi's Republic Star Destroyer. The Solo piece seems to me relatively simplistic in the construction (although quite a unique choice of subject) where Varszegi's piece appears incredibly complex and is masterfully executed. See it under "Interviews" at www.fbtb.netFor those arguing Nathan's a loser... 1. What's it to you if this is what he chooses to do with his time? 2. You've obviously got nothing better to do with YOUR time since your posting comments here (myself included!). And 3. I'm an artist with paintings in museums around the world, sold work with Christie's and Bonham's, and (although I'm sure I'm a loser as well)I'm impressed with Nathan's creation.

To the idiots saying this dude has no life: this guy gets paid good money to build lego models of shit clients want him to build. Thats right, people write him checks to build shit out of legos. So very likely this dude has more of a life than you who is either (or going to be) working a 9-to-5 job where you wish you werent there, always taking orders from a boss who is possibly dumber than you. Personally, if I had to pick between the 9-to-5 and this, Ill take the legos no problem as it looks like he gets to travel a lot instead of sitting in the same ass office every damn day. The Han Solo thing was his own little project, I am sure the negative posters have accomplished a lot in their lives the last 3 months, or possibly nothing; likely its the latter.

I’m not that impressed by this from the standpoint that it’s in such a constricted domain.Furthermore, fan art is not art. Maybe some day these kinds of things will be treasured and sold at pretentious flea-market like affairs, along with the tron costume some asshat made out of long johns and rave glowstrings.Then there’s the tenacity aspect of it. That’s great, but that tenacity is similar to that of the woman who made a whole wall full of little jars of scabs that she picked off of her arms. I mean, you go, guy.That all said, I’d love to see the rest of the stuff this guy has done, because this does wow me on some level. Glad I’m not him.
