She has very thick fur as it is, but this year we let her inside the unheated garage with an electric blanket for her... With a dog door so she can get out. Before we moved to this new house, we had built a dog house that was house quality... Hooked to the a/c for winter and summer, shingles on the roof, vinyl siding, insulation, carpet, dog door, hidden under our deck. The water wasn\&amp;#039;t safe inside, and would be a pain to get to, so it sat outside and froze every day.
