nothing happened to me when i looked at this painting but. i can barely look at it for a second. it gives me a weird feeling. I feel like people are watching me but thats how i feel whenever i get scared. i am scared weird things will happen. but. i slept without nightmares the first day. i REALLY got scared when i found out what could happen just looking at it. i feel like crying because i get scared at times just thinking about it

I think the description makes the painting more fearful to be watched and to then hear the resctions of people who look at the painting people relate small similar occurances to other people\\\'s reactions of looking at this painting. I have printed out the painting along with information of it so I can clip in in my diary. I'm very curious. Seeing this is my first day of viewing this painting I want to know what will happen.

I was having a toss to this image when all of a sudden there was a guy next to me blowin' his load all over the screen. Upon examining the picture close, I masturbated once more before heading off to bed. I dreamt that I was nailed to a cross while watching the Goatse marathon, but in real life. waste of canvas yes one has got to wonder what was going through the artistmind when he paints such a disturbing image??? Maybe he was drunk after he visited the brewery. ok im back to truly test this damned picture last time i think it brought "something" to my house.......flash back of......ahhh man all i had a dream about was me and a girl i like from schoola day after that(this is where the freaky stuff happens) i was taking a shower wheni hear huuhh ahh huuh ah huuh and foot steps the shower curtian swiveled and i got scared so i turned the shower off and a hand print was there like a kids hand print there younger than me i tried to match it but it was too small and then my shampoo flew off the sill and cracked the hell out of me!! day after that i hear why are you here and i see a kid out side me door the one in the picture!!!! HELPthat was last time....so now the testI will print the pictures and post them in my room where i will sleep with my older brother who thinks nothing will happenso now lets see what happens tonight.....Wish Me Luck....my last words.....This is the last time (i think)I'll deal with this

Uh...I thought it wqas awsome...It gave me there terror but I loved it...but I wonder...in the top middle window pane in the picture what the hell is that object? If there is anyone out there who has been upset by this article, or the picture, please have a look at this site where you will find a full transcript of the original eBay listing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/derby/unexplained/2002/haunted_painting/ebay_haunted_painting_01.shtml. What you will notice in the last paragraph (on the 4th page of the article) of this article, after the eBay member’s “Supernatural Disclaimers”, is another statement informing you that the pictures taken during the night whilst the painting was supposed to be gripped by occult forces are for ‘pure entertainment’ purposes only. And that is exactly what this is: entertainment. Yes, the picture is rather unsettling, I think a lot of this is created by the mismatched lighting angles, rather than the hands and doll, but the whole idea that it is possessed or cursed is a rather clever, if not cruel ‘marketing ploy’ that went a little too far, and has caused upset to many people. Don’t feel ashamed if you were one of those affected by this, I found it disturbing, too – but I decided to do a little more research and uncovered what I feel to be the truth about it all, and I hope if you have been affected by all this (or know someone who has been), my efforts will help you sleep better. I’ve looked at the painting many times , but never for very long. I’ve never felt ill or anything from looking at it but it is an eerie painting and that’s all it is to me , a creepy / cool painting that I think probably isn’t haunted but then again , maybe it’s just because I haven’t looked at it “long enough”.
