I love it. This is the best quality keyboard I have ever used in 20 years. The keys give exactly the right feedback and resiliency and travel to make typing secure and fast. I type most of the day and this is faster, not because it is blank, but because, the keystrokes are so easy and certain. It does scare some people to see my type, they I am typing secrets. Some people are weird. By the way, you can now get this quality with labeled keys and a USB hub at www.daskeyboard.com

Actually that's exactly how I learned to type, I lived in a tent one winter (outside, but it was in vegas so it wasnt freezing and I had the basics like a computer and a phone and tv) anyway my hands would be freezing so I coverd them with a blanket... I already could touch type, but this forced me to memorize all the other keys like punctuation etc... it frustrated me a little at first but eventually I got pretty good.

Definitely not essential, or especially useful by any means. But it's asthetically pleasing, kind of cool and modern.

Hey, if your into spending money, don't forget about the new Optimus keyboard with the oLED keys that can display, (or not), anything or any language you choose... lots'o'fun.
