I like this, but it could be better. (When is that not true?) I've used it for about 6 months with Cat Attract. The filter really does make a difference, and I think my cats like the clear dome better than the usual kind. I certainly appreciate that the dome is hinged -- makes for easy in-between cleanings. Two major shortcomings: - It's made of cheap, cheap, cheap plastic. I haven't found out for sure whether the plastic is porous, and rather than find out, I've been using sifting liners -- rather a PITA, since they affect how the lid fits.- Even though the box is a reasonable size for big cats, it's the same low height all the way around. My 18-pounder pees on the inside-rear of the lid. What's worse, the lid includes an add-on holder for the useless, flimsy scoop. Sometimes my cat's urine goes THROUGH the holes that this holder hooks into. This box would be SO MUCH BETTER if the back was higher.
