Same experience. Got this gadget, put it on a bottle, it lost the caumm and restarted about once an hour. Batteries dead in a week, gadget returned to store. Good idea, bad execution. Metrokane's V-Gauge is much better, more reliable (and cheaper).

Got a wine vac for chritmas....sounds like a great idea..but this unit will not keep a seal on the wine bottle and frequently restarts and runs until battery is dead....ended up putting cork back in bottle..and this gadget in the trash..
