try using the egg part as a single portion veggie steamer. It great and fast for califlower, green beans, anything.

I got one of these last year and it is seriously awesome when you don't have a lot of time in the morning (especially if you use egg beaters!). And to answer some of the other posts: cooking eggs in the toaster is perfect so you don't dirty every other pan in the kitchen or worry about things burning/not being done on time; and the egg and sausage are hot enough when you take them out that you don't have to melt the cheese - put a cold slice right on when you put it together and it melts on its own.

I add cheese to the egg—It’s all in the timing, though. Put it on too early, and your egg won’t finish cooking (especially if you scramble the egg). Wait until the egg is done or almost done, then place a slice of cheese on top and put the top back on so it can melt. I like to fold the slice so it fits into the egg cooker.

My question is:CAN YOU PUT CHEESE IN THE EGG? hOW DO YOU MELT THE CHEESE ON THE SANDWICH??If anyone knows where the cheese gets melted on this thing, please let me know!
