it’s also called the ‘Jericho Rose’, take a look (with videos) over here: http://vibeke.schou.dk/curiosity/jerico/you can even soak it with [b]boiling[/b] water to have it open / unfold withing 10-20mins.

this is not really weird but boring.over here in germany it is widely sold at x-mas markets for a small fee.there is some reference to jesus i believe – withsome water you can make this plant ‘re-birth’ again – if you time it right you make it green at x-mas-day.still it’s only woth a fiver.
