The Shanxi Granite Hearth Table. Unlike grouted tile patio tables subject to mildew, cracks, and discoloration, our cooking hearth table has a solid granite top cut from the mountains in China's Shanxi province. Each handcrafted tabletop is unique, so no two grain patterns or colorations are the same. A cutout section in the table center contains a 16" diam. stainless steel fire pit with propane tank fitting that produces a powerful 11,000 BTUs for cooking at your dining area. The table connects to a standard 20 lb. propane tank (not included; the table can also be professionally connected to a natural gas line), and comes with a set of gas fire logs to create the feel of a wood fire. The cutout space also accommodates a grill surface or an ice basin (both sold separately
below). An included tabletop section can be placed on the cutout to cover the fire pit for extra surface area. A sturdy, stable, cast aluminum base holds the surface level without the sagging that plagues less precisely milled tables, and the powder coating keeps the base looking shiny and new through years of outdoor exposure.
