The Hover Mower by Eastman Industries

Eastman Industries has taken the lawn mower to a new level (literally). The Hover Mower is designed to hover slightly above the ground on a cushion of air, making it more maneuverable, extremely light, easy to propel and able to reach previously inaccessible places like extreme inclines, wet grounds, and tight, difficult to get at places.

Let us know your thoughts in the Comments if you have ever had the opportunity to use one or already own one. It makes perfect sense to me, very cool.

I live in Canada after moving here from the UK almost 20 years ago & I would love to have one. My house has a large steep bank in the back yard that is a real pain to mow with a conventional mower. All the contractors in the in the UK have a hover mower to look after steep banks. All they do is tie a rope to the handle of the mower & swing it like a pendulum letting out a little more rope with every pass of the mower. Before you know it the mower is at the bottom of a nicely mowed grass bank & you havent had to move an inch to get the job done.
Like the old advert said ” IT’S A LOT LESS BOVER WITH A HOVER”.

I looked on line & it seam you can buy these all over the world except North America. SUCKS

ok this thing might look cool but its a bitch to use! i mean it does a good job and everything and its only light when its on but when its off and you have to drag it places its hard and heavy. it blows the grass every where! i got it in my nose and my mouth! but im not sure how it would do on flat surfaces, i just used it on the banks. i found out when you swing it back and forth it does a good job on a side of a hill and it takes a lot of work to swing it. personally i wouldn\\\'t buy it my self but i guess it does do an ok job so i dont know its up to you1

If you value your money, you would not invest into anything made by Eastman Industries. They have zero customer support and parts- well parts are next to impossible to get. There is a good reason you can't find them here, they have like 5 employees their distributors are dropping like flies, for the simple reason, ZERO support!!

If they are a four stroke they would be much heavier. They stoped making them because of stafey laws and emmission requirements.
