Air2Water Dolphin Watercooler - Water Out of Thin Air!

The Dolphin by Air2Water is the first watercooler to go bottleless, because it generates pure water out of thin air. It combines a dehumidifier with a state-of-the-art water filtration system that can generate 20 to 24 Litres of Hot or Cold pure drinking water every 24 hours.

The powerful filtering process draws in outside air through an electrostatic filter, which removes 93% of all airborne particles. Next, as it collects water, it is passed into a UV (UltraViolet) light holding tank for 30 minutes, which kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria in the water. The water is then pumped through a sediment screen, which removes 99.9% of any volatile organic chemicals. Finally it's passed through a mineral additive and into a reservoir tank which recycles the water back through the UV filter every hour.

I'm really excited about this technology and I wonder why nobody really thought of this before. It pays for itself in bottled water cost savings, it's about as pure as water can be, it's energy efficient, it dehumidifies the air and can be used worldwide where clean water is hard to find. Even if you live in a dry and arid climate, you can even pour tap water into the unit to be purified.

All I know is that Green Head Headquarters is about to get a new watercooler as soon as I can get my hands on one of these. Absolutely Green Head Recommended!

You’re really seeing more and more of the UV light technology coming out lately. It’s great that they are going to use it to purify water which makes complete sense.

I agree with “Tony” above, bottled water gets really expensive over time, buying bottle after bottle.

Wanna bet its pricey?

Maybe they’ll take the next step and make a whole house water generator.

Good idea! But what happends if the relative humidity is not enough? Is it possible to give the machine pot water by your own or not?

Air2Water's new Triton line is a whole house version of the water generating machine, which also provides free A/C and central air purification in a single energy efficient package. Residential, Commercial or Industrial Air2Water has you covered.

I work in the scientific sales industry and I work closely with water purification companies such as Millipore and Elga. The Dolphin water purifer (air-->water) that you advertise is NOT energy efficient... its sucks hundred of Watts of power over time (otherwise we would be installing them in water starved countries like Africa wouldn\'t we!).
Yes it's cheaper than bottled water but only because bottled water has a huge mark-up... but it's certainly NOT a green alternative to a municiple source. You will have to be very careful as your addvertisement could be considered extremely misleading!! (Just though you should know!).

They have been making these type machines for more than 5-6 years...at age 19(just turned 23) i thought of this machine from watching an air conditioner drip water off the back when it got hot out, & all it is, is a condenser that gets super cold & condenses water on the outside(like a cold glass of water does)but to the point of freezing it, then it turns on & off to make the frost formed liquify & run down through the filters...ALL Air contains H20 all it does is use a fan to circulate air past the outside of the condenser & turn on & off @ the correct intervals...they DO use it in AFRICA & other places only with solar panels on top for the electricity...& they make any size you could emagine curently up to the size of a semi truck trailer that make like 2500gal/day but could go as big as a football field they say...like i said i designed this system as a TEENAGER & wanted to use a huge system put at the top of any mountain or elevated area to put the water through a hydro electric plant/turbine to make an ELECTRICITY PLANT that runs on AIR!! but when i went to try & patent i found someone beat me to the punch by like 2years & that there was allready countertop Air2Water machines...sucks for me...they even put one in some guy from africa van so he could sell his own bottled water on pimp my ride...I dont see why obama doesnt work to set up some of these giant AIR2WATER plants in all these places where we are having water shortages with solar panels to have or i wonder if there is ways to have hydrogen fuel cells power these machines off the water they create...& wouldnt it also help to lower the levels of the rising ocean...well thats my 2cents...thanks for reading

Sola power is the way to go with these Air 2 Water machines. The combination of the two will make the unit functional off the electric grid and bring water to where it is needed most. In the water market this combination could wipe out bottled product.
Water corperations need to get on board install units on rental in households and save squillions on grid maintenance and cut the cost to the consumer for waterservices rembember Sola power is the key
