Not since the talent show in the movie Revenge of the Nerds have I seen or even heard of an electric violin, but now you too can rock out in a futuristic yet classical way with this cool new Electric Violin. While it may look like a traditional violin at first glance, this innovative stringed musical instrument has a built-in piezo pickup and can either be plugged into an amplifier for a jam session or headphones for silent practice. It features solid body hardwood construction with a twin cutaway design, a rosewood bridge, Dโ€™Addario Prelude steel strings, ebony fingerboard, fittings, tuner, and a horsehair bow along with built-in volume and tone knobs, twin 1/8" line-in/out jacks. If you always wanted to learn an instrument or couldn't because of the racket they make during practice, then this might be the way to go.
