Manhattan Rooftop Artisanal Honey Flight
Honey bees are cool. They make us free honey that is tasty, healthy, and never expires, they pollinate the majority of crops and flowers around the world, and they are considerate enough to never sting unless we are threatening them and then only when we probably deserve it. Even cooler, rooftop beehives being deployed in the big cities are now helping to support the increasingly endangered bee population. The cool new Manhattan Rooftop Artisanal Honey Flight is a set of 4 unique honeys made by urban bees in beehives scattered across the Big Apple's rooftops. The honey bees pollination efforts from Hell's Kitchen (Fall harvest), Central Park West (Fall harvest), Highline (Spring harvest), and Harlem (late Summer harvest) are all represented in this honey set created by Andrew Cote, a fourth-generation beekeeper and founder of the New York City Beekeepers Association. The four honeys in this artisanal sampler come corked in glass vials and are undoubtedly way tastier than honey sold in plastic bears.
