Floating Match on a Playing Card Illusion

I love magic tricks, but I'm having trouble figuring this one out. How does the match float on top of the playing card in this cool new Floating Match on a Playing Card Illusion? Apparently you can hover any small and light object over the surface of a playing card and the item can be removed as well. I'm sure the solution is obvious, but it's a prety cool illusion. The trick comes with a set of three playing cards and four wooden matches to get you started. Check out the video below to see this amazing trick in action.

I think he has to strings running trough the card, he tightens them with one hand, while he bends the card with another, by bending the card the object now only rests on the 2 tightened strings making it seem like it floats.

Yeah i love magic & using invisible thread is the easiest way to look like your a really good magician, if you take a single strand of invisible thread & put a small peice of magicians wax on both ends you then put it over your ear & secure it with the wax behind your ear draping over the front then have it long enough that you can have it drape over your thumb web & out far enough to show someone a card & then take the card back & with a slide of hand motion put the other end of the threads wax in the middle of the card & throw it in the air a spinning motion right infront of you & catch the thread with the base of your thumb so its draping from your ear over the web of your thumb & hanging down to the spinning card...now wiggle your fingers like your making it float also putting your other hand under the spinning card makes it look like your levitating it between your hands...sweet easy trick if you understand what im sayin...later ~Kris Lawrie
