Now you can finally watch your garden grow (or die) right before your very eyes with the cool new Brinno GardenWatchCam. This innovative digital camera makes it easy to create fun timelapse videos of specific plants, entire gardens, passing clouds, rotting fruit or anything that moves and grows over a period of time.
The Brinno GardenWatchCam features a weather resistant, 1.3 megapixel time lapse camera with a lens that adjusts for either close ups or infinity, has a wide 54" field of view and a light sensor that turns the camera off at dusk and on at dawn. It takes photos at seven different time intervals (1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours or user-defined) and stores them as JPEG images on an included removable 2GB USB flash drive for easy playback as an 1280 x 1024 resolution AVI movie file on a computer using the included Windows program or any AVI video player.
This would make a great gift for any true garden-loving voyeur, but I think I would use it to watch a Venus Fly Trap devour and dissolve its prey! Check out the video below (and more in the VIDEOs section) to see a real example of the Brinno GardenWatchCam in action.
