The original Thing in a Bag drove cats absolutely nuts. Since they usually only play with the boxes and bags that other toys come in, this one turned out to be perfect since it combined bags and movement. Now there is a new variation called Cat In The Bag. This version simply adds a cat tail sticking out of the bag as it shakes and moves around the floor. I don't know if your cat will think there is another cat trapped in the bag and completely freak out, but it's still funny and worth finding out.
