A grandfather clock is a beautiful wooden work of art, but do you really need massive heavy furniture to tell you the time? The Grandpa Clock ($79) is a modern spin on that old-fashioned grandfather clock. It's simply a wooden frame covered with canvas that has an image of an antique grandfather clock printed onto it. Behind the canvas are the clockworks that run the antique-style hands on the front. It's a real clock, but it can hang right on the wall like a painting and doesn't take up space. It's a cool idea and I think I would actually rather have this than the real thing.
