The Cat Genie - Automatic Flushing Litter Box is quite simply the coolest litter box ever! It's self-flushing, self-washing and well, I can't even describe it, except that it is way better than my toilet in every way and eliminates the need to scoop, clean, and dispose of messy cat litter ever again. Watch the demonstration video playing below and let us know in the Comments if your cat is spoiled & pampered enough for a litter box of this magnitude!

My question is this:
When the cats urinates the liquid goes out the bottom. But if the unit only cleans once a day that residual urine will be all in the pellets. Will that small and will the cat track urine on the carpet because of it?

I just purchased the Cat Genie. My cats started using it after 3 days. However, when I ran the first clean cycle, the hand retrieved none of the waste. While the water and sani solution worked fine, all of the poop was still in the box. The hand is attached correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am currently running another cycle and will call the company tomorrow if the results are the same.

I am not sure what is wrong with the hand, however you can call customer service they are incredibly helpful and will send you parts asap as long as your warranty is still good. My cat adapted to the CatGenie very fast, it took him less than a week, you can try putting the old box next to the CatGenie and letting it fill up eventually they will move onto the CatGenie since it is clean.

I am interested in this, but how do you hook it to a water/disposal source? I dont have sound on my computer. I watched the video, but just wonder do you have to put it close to the toilet? Please someone let me know how this works. Thanks.

The CatGenie comes with a Y shaped adapter so all you need is a wrench to set it up, it only took me about 15 mins to set it up. It can be placed in the bathroom, yes it must be next to the toilet, or in a laundry room.

Once it is set up, you might need to acclimate your cat to the CatGenie since some cats and be picky. My cat used it the very same day, just depends on your cat. Once they use the box you can either start the cleaning manually by pushing a button or you can set it to clean automatically every 4,8,12, or 24 hours.

This is the best produce ever. I've owned it for almost 2 years. My cats love it and I love not having a liter box that I had to scope and still smelled. Wouldn't live without it.

CatGenie has come out with a new version of CatGenie, the CatGenie 120! It has a Cat Activation feature, and Sani-Solution Cartridges now last up to 120 washes.
