Slanket - Ultimate Blanket with Sleeves!

Have you ever curled up tightly in a blanket and gotten completely comfortable while watching tv only to realize that you now will have to move to reach for the remote or take a sip of tea. Don't you wish your blanket had sleeves? You could do so much more, like read, play video games, eat a snack, talk on the phone, etc. all while under a toasty blanket. Seriously, you've all thought of this invention before, but a great man named Gary went further and now it's finally on the market, The Slanket - The Best Blanket Ever with Sleeves!

what if all of a sudden, you were engaged in hand-to-hand combat, and you had to stand up real fast, and deliver a blow to your assailent, but you couldn’t get the sleeves off your arms fast enough, and your combatant totally knocks you out? plus, if you had to run away really quick, you might slip on the blanket, and fall right on your face. They did say that the sleeves are oversized. maybe it is easier to get out of the sleeves than it looks? IDK.

Then why didn’t you think of it, Dumbass?
Also, why can’t you spell? I guess if they make money off this, then you’re the dumbass!

Maybe if you’d have made it with sleeves instead of sleaves or sleves you’d be RICH!

The $65 price is reasonable if it is 300 weight Polar Fleece by Malden Mills, which goes for upward of $15 per yard when bought by the yard. That would make about $30 for the fabric, and labor and profit would easily be $30.

Of course they are going to charge more than it costs to make the product. The whole point of putting out a product is to make money.

Fucking retard…

IS THIS IN EUROPE YET? July comment said \'in short time\' landing on my side of the Atlantic. Looks comfy for cold nights in Holland. *FYI: \'sleave\' is also a term (albeit archaic) for a split or cut in fabric. Just throwing that out there to the anonymous linguists questioning the word\'s usage by someone earlier this year, although I doubt it was anything other than a spelling error as well. Or maybe they were British, whatever, it doesn\'t matter. Communication is the point, and the intention was obvious. It IS annoying when unnecessary negativity isn\'t even spelled properly, however, as it undermines an argument/opinion full stop. I don\'t tend to take those views seriously, either. Anyway, to the negativist with poor spelling: Of course there are innumerable \'doah why didn\'t i think of that\' products out there! The fact is that most of us never take a chance and follow through with ideas or even get inspired enough to do so in this product-driven age. Get a notebook, tune in to necessity (mother of invention) and go for it. There are already more than enough critics in the world.

FYI - You can get the Slanket at QVC for $30. I bought two, and they're perfect for sitting out on a cool night (or for watching TV if you live in a North Woods cabin in Maine or wherever). We looked for a similar product for a while, but when we found this we stopped looking. There is a somewhat similar product at Bed Bath and Beyond, but it's too short to cover your feet, so it just wouldn't work. I "wear" mine like the photos show, covering me like a blanket only with my arms sticking out. My sweetie "wears" hers more like a robe (open in the front). Both work. We love them!
