Looks like Mork got an upgrade. The Oculas is a new multi-sensory, multi-purpose, & multi-tainment isolation pod where you can go to work, play, relax, sleep, hide or get your Darth Vader helmet changed (maybe not). Would you pay $45,000, for a luxury pod with the latest technology, comfort and audio-visual wizardry? I don't know about you, but I would love to have one of these and simply escape away immersed in the experience of my favorite movie, video game or song with no one able to bother me. well over designed - this is design just for the sake of it. I agree with the \'10 years too late\' comment above. A cup holder is a feature for a machine worth 45 thou! - just means if they have to state that they must desperate.

I thought it was a cool idea until I saw the price. They must be crazy $45,000. and it doesn’t have a freakin cup holder. If there was a cup holder and the price was a lot lower I would probably buy it. Hey admit you would too.

This thing is awesome. Overly priced, but awesome. It comes with a TV, AC…but according to you people it lacks a cup holder. WHAT IS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND THE CUP HOLDER!!!!! Whoopee it doesn’t have a place to hold your drink CUT A HOLE IN IT!!!

...with all the trouble in this world at the moment, here we have a "product" designed by idiots for millionaires to lock themselves up in - i can't get over the stupidity of this "product".
What is the point?
Why on earth is Mclaren involved in this?

If the price wasn't so much, this would be an awesome product. If you think it's too much, then start a campaign against it or something, I dunno.

P.S. It's still really cool though.

I have the 1980's prototype of this (nor Maclarens) created in a lab in California it looks more like a tiny airstream trailer, but also has the tv, stereo, and also body monitoring equipment (heart pulse etc) and a very small lazyboy.
