does it really work? You always see them in cartoons when they want to drill a well or something and it points down. Is that the same thing?

I actually bought one of these weather sticks for my husband and it worked! It’s kinda fun to know what the weather will be like by a stick on the side of our house.

They do work. Weather sticks are common in Norway, where people can just go out into the forest and get their own stick, cutting the top off a dead tree and removing the bark (dead trees only since it has to be really dry wood). We used to do it as kids, and have single and double weather sticks outside our house still.

that is kinda freaky if you think about it. but funny none the less, they work!

963D24G my hubby and I were given a weather stick from maine as a house warming gift and we are enjoying watching it each day. Ours does it backwards tho. It goes way up on rainy days and down for fair days. we did not mount it upside down as the drill hole is on top.
